Christopher Julian is 36 years old, currently resides in Seattle, WA, and lived in Ithaca, NY for the 12 years prior. He received his B.A. in Cinema (16mm) with a minor in music from Binghamton University in 1994, and an A.S. in Communications from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2004.
His main skills include digital video editing in both Avid and Final Cut Pro platforms, as well as cinematography, digital videography & photography, digital audio editing & mixing, web design and other technical skills.
While editing for other productions, he pursues directing and writing projects of his own, most notably the full-length film "Invisible Ink" (completed fall 2006), and his screenplay "Scapegoat," an account of the last days of Judas Iscariot.
He is also a musician and singer/songwriter as well as painter, sculptor and woodworker. For leisure, he is an avid swimmer.
Chris currently teaches video editing and documentary filmmaking part-time at:
Seattle Film Institute, the Art Institute of Seattle, and the Northwest Film Forum.
